    With temperatures increasing through last week and reaching 102 degrees Saturday and Sunday, there is plenty of dry grass in the area. The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department responded to a small grass fire in town on the morning of July 4, but the department only saw a few small fires on the holiday.
