    The Lady Bobcat volleyball team ended their season at Regionals in Torrington last weekend after a pair of losses. "Unfortunately, our varsity season did not end the way we wanted it to," said coach Shannon Hill, "but we can use our losses as a learning experience on the season."     Thermopolis Middle School girls basketball kicked off their season with a complete nail-biter against Lander last week, going into double overtime for the A team.     The Hot Springs Board of County Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon and discussed an application for supplemental funding for an apron expansion project at the airport. In talking with TO Engineers, the commissioners learned chances of getting the grant look to be about 50/50 at this time, but more money is coming down in the next three years.     The Thermopolis Airport had a small hand in helping with the fires near Dubois as FBO Nate Messenger reported to the county commissioners on Tuesday that one of the planes fighting the fires fueled up at our airport.     Maintenance supervisor Jere Apland reported to the school board last week on the summer maintenance his crew completed. At Ralph Witters Elementary (RWE) they finished the last of the carpet and linoleum replacement on the south end of the building.
