    Local resident, Shawn Goodman, 42, was seriously injured in a work related accident in the Big Horn Mountains on September 14. At 8:45 a.m., Goodman was cutting trees to be shipped to Oregon for a log home when one of the trees fell on him, breaking both femurs at the hip. A fellow worker from Shoshoni, Jason Kinnigy, has been commended for saving Goodman’s life, getting him as comfortable as possible before going for help.     The varsity Bobcat golfers tested their mettle against the Absaroka Conference last week on the beautiful Buffalo Golf Course.     The Lady Bobcat varsity and JV volleyball teams played their home tournament last weekend which included teams from Little Snake River, Farson-Eden, Greybull, Wheatland, Pinedale, Torrington, Big Piney, Shoshoni, Wind River, Meeteetse, Kemmerer, Wyoming Indian and Riverside.     The Hot Springs County School District No. 1 Board of Directors agreed to change the start times for school for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year at their February meeting.     The Hot Springs County Commissioners had just over $10 million to work with this budget season, but with a little trimming here and there, they managed to cover everything. While some requests for funding were significantly higher, the commissioners were frugal in their spending knowing next year the monies coming in will be tighter.
