    Thermopolis Middle School sixth grade students achieved 100 percent improvement on their Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) test in mathematics.     A third baby buffalo was born on April 28 in the Hot Springs State Park buffalo herd. She was named Mia after Mia Thermopolis from "The Princess Diaries." Mia must be bottle-fed because her mother was a first time mother who left her out in the pasture. This is not something that happens all of the time, but it does happen on occasion according to Jody Lange, the Hot Springs State Park Trades Technician.
